About this Artwork

A wall of dark volcanic stone at the beach of Nonza, covered in messages left by visitors over the years. White pebbles arranged into names, hearts, anchors and at the centre, the delicate silhouette of Jesus on the cross, crafted from small stones. The Corsican coastline draws people in and they leave something behind. This image is a close-up of that impulse: a quiet, flat surface turned into a collective story.
